Artesia New Mexico is a small town located in the southeastern corner of the state. It’s nestled between Roswell and Carlsbad, but when traveling the area, it’s easy to dismiss the town as nothing special because the main highway runs past it instead of through it.

If you take a few moments to turn onto the Main street though, you’ll be pleasantly surprised at how attractive parts of the town are. A lot of work has gone into upgrading Main Street in the past several years, and these two sunrise photos show just a glimpse of how pretty it is.
