Verbena Flower Series

This stock photo series seems appropriate for March 1st, since most of us begin thinking of spring about this time of year. These photos focus on a beautiful purple verbena flower head cluster with fresh water droplets on the flower petals. Verbena is a drought tolerant annual that grows well in the desert southwest and makes a nice addition to a low water xeriscape garden.

This photo series was designed with a healthy eating concept in mind and is ideal for illustrating nutritional concepts, weight loss, recipes, gardening or even buying food locally from a farmers market.

The first photo features a close up of crisp green salad with lettuce, tomato and other trimmings on a plate with the fork beside.

This series post shows four variations on the same shot so they can be integrated into different ad copy or publication needs.

This second variation highlights a fat red tomato wedge, shows more of the plate arrangement and leaves more copy space room on the left.

The third variation in this series gets up close and personal so you can see the rich colors and textures of the lettuce and meat in the salad.

The fourth photo in this series also gets up close and personal so you can see textures and details, and the fork is digging in as if someone is in the process of eating this tasty salad.

Crumpled Paper Background

This is a simple crumpled paper background that’s excellent for use as a general texture or design element. The paper is slightly crumpled and natural in color. It looks like light shining through a brown paper bag and has golden undertones to it.

In the high resolution version of this shot you can see the paper fibers that give it an excellent texture.

Eyeglasss in Blue

This featured photo was designed to be a business or financial abstract. In it we have a pair of fashionable woman’s eyeglasses sitting on top of the financial pages of a newspaper. The entire photo has a blue/green color tone to it to complete the abstract look and make it more versatile for many different uses.

Christmas Ornaments

This is one of my favorite Christmas themed photos. It features three brushed metal Christmas ball ornaments hanging from the tree.

All three ornaments are hung from the Christmas tree with gold ribbon, and the front featured ornament is gold with one red and one green slightly behind, and soft muted colored Christmas lights in the background.
