Who is Product Photography For...
Product photography is used by businesses large and small. Here's an example of the various types of businesses which use product photography, and what they use it for:
- EBay Sellers: Anyone who sells more than a few items on EBay needs lots of photography. Pictures of all items you sell help you earn much more money for those items. If you run a full fledged EBay store, consignment service, or you simply buy things cheaply at yard sales and flea markets to sell on EBay for profit, you need lots of pictures! Some EBay sellers actually need thousands of product pictures every month, and this can be extremely time consuming to keep up with. Your product photos also need to be very high quality, or else the product will not sell as well.
- ECommerce Websites: If you want to start a new website which sells things in a store like environment, one of the first things you'll need to do is get great pictures of your products. When people buy things online, they can't touch it, smell it, or otherwise examine the products you're offering. And words will help, they allow you to describe the product in detail, but beautiful pictures of your products can really seal the deal and make many more sales for you!
- Catalog and Brochure Advertisers: If you create printed catalogs, flyers or brochures to mail out to your customer and prospect lists, you already know how important it is to have beautiful product photos to showcase what you're selling. Without these pictures, many sales would never get made!
These are just a few small examples of who needs and uses product photography. It doesn't matter if you're just getting started, you're still small, or you've been established and growing for many years. Product photos help sell products - online and off!
How to Get Great Product Photos...
So now you know you really need great product photography to help increase sales, now you just need to know how to get started. And all you have to do is leave the photography side of things to me!
I am a professional product photographer who has 10 years of advertising, marketing, and online commerce experience. This combination allows me to create beautiful, professional looking photos that will help you sell more products - particularly online.
Getting beautiful product photography from me is a fairly simple and straighforward process...
- Place an order. You can send me an email explaining how many products you need photos for, and then pay a 50% deposit, or you can send the total project fee at once if you'd like. Placing your order gets everything started.
- Package and ship your products. You'll send a package with your small products to my studio for photographing. You can ship a small number of products to start with if you'd prefer to test my services first, or you can ship larger numbers all at once.
- Once your package arrives I'll send you an email letting you know it's here, and giving you an estimated time to completion. Most small product photography batches are finished in just 2-3 business days.
- I'll take the photos, do any corrections, fine tuning and cleanup if needed, then upload those to the web with watermarks in place. These are called "proofs" and they're placed online so you can quickly and easily review the product photos I've taken.
- If you're happy with the proofs, you'll then pay any balances if they're due, and I'll safely repackage up your products for return. I'll also create a CD of the full high resolution product photos, without any watermarks, and include that CD in your return package. If you'd like, I'll also create a ZIP file of those final photos, and place it online for you to download.
- Your products will be sent back by the delivery method and speed of your choice.
And that's it! A simple, and easy way to get high resolution, professional, top quality product photos for use in your advertising and marketing campaigns. You will pay for shipping both ways, and you will get to see and approve the photos before the project is considered complete. You can even request that I create smaller, web friendly versions of each picture and place those on your CD with the high resolution print quality ones, and there is no extra cost.
